Introduction
The workshop will be delivered over two half day sessions and
will include a mixture of presentations and practical workshops
focusing on the evaluation of physical, chemical and technical
property data in GB, in support of plant protection products
(PPPs). The training will be delivered by HSEs regulatory chemists
directly involved in the assessment process. The training will also
include an introduction to the 2025 GB Physical, Chemical and
Technical Properties Guidance, which will be applicable to PPP
authorisations in GB submitted from 1 March 2026.
The course will cover:
- Introduction to the 2025 GB Physical, Chemical and Technical
Properties Guidance
- Assessment of the draft Registration Report (dRR) - Sections
B1, B2: Identity and Physical, Chemical and Technical Properties;
Part C: Confidential information
- Overview of methods of analysis for the active substance,
relevant impurities and physical, chemical and technical
properties
- Extrapolation of physical, chemical and technical properties
data between formulations and changes to existing formulations
- Overview of CRD's processes for handling Non-Significant
Formulation Changes (NSFCs)
- Common problems with applications
- Q&A sessions

Who should attend?
This workshop is specifically designed for registration
specialists involved in the preparation and submission of PPP
dossiers to HSE's Chemicals Regulation Division.
Live Online Course Information
