CRD - In Person Workshop: UK General Registration Procedures for Plant Protection Products

Introduction
This one-day workshop will provide a general introduction to UK
Registration Procedures for Plant Protection Products in accordance
with Assimilated Regulation No 1107/2009 for Great Britain and
Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 in Northern Ireland.
The workshop will be delivered by HSE's Chemicals Regulation
Division (CRD) Registration Specialists who will be available to
answer your questions throughout the event.
The course will cover:
- Who we are and how we can provide advice on the application
process
- What you can expect from your HSE/CRD project manager
- When to submit an application, how to submit an application and
what information to provide for the various application types
- The different types of submissions, including new products,
amendments and renewals
- Evaluation timelines and fees
- When and how you may be contacted for clarification
- An introduction to HSE/CRD's specialist teams and how your
submission will be evaluated
- Advice on the format and content of labels
- Introduction to data protection
- What to expect upon completion of our assessment
- Changes made to guidance and processes

Who should attend?
This event is targeted at those new to pesticide registration
including small businesses. The aim of the workshop is to provide
guidance on how to prepare submissions for plant protection product
authorisations in the UK. It is also suitable for those looking to
update their knowledge of the pesticide registration processes.
Course requirements
- Laptop: Delegates are required to bring their
own laptops.
- Software: Laptops must have access
to Microsoft Word/Excel.
- Internet Access: Laptops should be able to
connect to the internet.
- WIFI: WIFI access will be provided during the
event.
